NAPOLEON Event Details

All four performances begin at 1:30pm. There will be three intermissions: two 20-minute intermissions and a 1 hour, 45 minute dinner break starting at 5:00pm. Please see Places to Eat below for nearby restaurant recommendations.

The film itself is 5½ hours long; with intermissions included, the show will let out at approximately 9:40pm.

KEVIN BROWNLOW at the PFA. On Friday, March 30, Kevin Brownlow will give an illustrated talk on his 5-decade crusade to restore NAPOLEON at the Pacific Film Archive Theater in Berkeley. Tickets are also available to a reception and book signing preceding the lecture. Visit PFA for tickets and more information.

POSTER SIGNING. Legendary illustrator Paul Davis, who created our stunning poster for the event, will sign copies of the poster at the Oakland Paramount on Sunday, March 25 beginning from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm. Admission to this event is free.

Getting to Oakland and the Paramount Theatre

The Bay Area is accessible to three major airports, Oakland International (OAK), San Francisco International (SFO) and San Jose International (SJC). And out-of-towners can also visit BART or For driving directions to for travel options.

Take BART to NAPOLEON! The Oakland Paramount is located at 2025 Broadway between 20th and 21st Streets in downtown Oakland, just steps away from the 19th Street BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) Station. It is less than a 20-minute BART ride between downtown San Francisco and the Paramount.
